No Special tools required for Installation. HOW DO I INSTALL THIS KIT? The bearing support bracket mounts securely to the subframe of your truck using the high tensile hardware included in your kit. The steering shaft extension installs onto the sector shaft of the gearbox below the pitman arm. The heavy duty support bearing installs onto the bracket and the steering shaft extension is inserted through the bearing.

The entire kit is bolt-on and requires no special modifications to be made to your vehicle. Installation can usually be completed in as little as 1 hour. Yes, the majority of the components in this kit have been coated or treated to prevent rust, oxidation and other types of corrosion that can be encountered from both daily driving and off-road use. The support bracket and the bearing carrier are Teflon coated, the hardware is both zinc plated and black oxide coated, while all other components are stainless steel.
